The TRIO Upward Bound Math and Science program provides services to low income, first generation college bound high school students in Chicago and nearby suburbs.

Robotics Week                     April 2nd - April 10th, 2016  

 

Robotics Scrimmage 
DATE: TO BE ANNOUNCED

This year, we will have our Robotics Scrimmage event as a kick-off to the seventh annual National Robotics Week which takes place from April 2nd - April 10th! This event will take place in February at the Center for College Access and Success (CCAS). All of our CPS and District 201 after-school UBMS robotics teams will participate in this event as a practice competition. It will allow student participants to figure out what they need to fix on their robots to get them oompetition-ready for our official internal robotics competition in April.

Robotics Competition
DATE: TO BE ANNOUNCED

We will be hosting our internal Robotics Competition this April at the Center for College Access and Success! During this competiiton, after-school UBMS robotics teams will compete infront of judges who will be keeping score. The team who scores the most points will win the competition. Students will be judged on the design of their robots, the concepts they have learned through building their robots, as well as how many points they score during the competition with their robots in the arena.
